ABOUT THE PROFITZ
These wandering minstrels have origins dating back to the middle ages. Medieval European entertainers, known as The Prophets, travelled in caravans to various locations throughout the Old World providing musical extravaganzas and enlightenment to people of all ages and backgrounds. Generations of Prophets would carry on this tradition for centuries until the last sighting of these travelling Troubadours around the late nineteenth century.
The resurrection of this tradition came about when musician Michael Fitzpatrick discovered in his family tree that some of his descendants had been involved in several versions of Prophets. Since the contemporary musical landscape is more about profits than prophecy, he decided to incorporate both and use the personalized name “The Profitz”. From Medieval to Midi evil these contemporary Profitz travel in Dodge Caravans hoping to create a meaningful impact, healing souls, and weaving connections with the power of music.
